ŠKODA Motability Offer £750 Advance Payment

Škoda Motability

It’s easy with Motability! You choose the car, we do the rest.

Heritage Škoda, located in Bristol, Gloucester, Weston-super-Mare, and Yeovil, is the leading provider of Škoda Motability cars across Gloucestershire, Somerset & Dorset. The mobility cars scheme enables disabled people to become independent by helping recipients of mobility allowances who qualify for Motability to exchange their entitlement to lease a new Škoda Motability car.

Motability is a national charity, set up on the initiative of the Government in 1977, to assist disabled people with their mobility needs simply by using their government-funded mobility allowances. If you receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement, getting a new car is easier and more affordable than ever. Through Motability, you simply turn part or all of your allowance into the Škoda of your choice. Many Motability car deals include a choice of special Motability Adaptions, many at no extra cost, and also with no advance payment.

You can now use your £750 New Vehicle Payment to help towards your Advance Payment

Motability are giving you the option to send your New Vehicle Payment directly to your dealer, to help towards the cost of your Advance Payment.

This is instead of getting the New Vehicle Payment a few weeks after you’ve picked up your new vehicle and already paid your Advance Payment.

We hope that giving you this option will make it easier for you to order your next vehicle on the Scheme.

How it works

If you’re eligible for the New Vehicle Payment, you can now choose for this to be sent directly to your Heritage Škoda retailer to help towards the cost of some, or all, of your Advance Payment.

Your Heritage Škoda retailer will ask if you’d like to do this when you’re ordering your new car.

If you choose to send your New Vehicle Payment to your retailer, motability arrange this for you before your new car is ready, so you do not need to do anything.

Motability will also confirm this in a letter they will send to you once your order has been accepted.

How do I apply?

It’s easy to get started. You can request an information pack, or visit the Motability website to check your eligibility and take the first step to choosing your car.

Can I join the scheme if I’m over 65?

Yes – if you receive the HRMC (Higher Rate Mobility Component) of the DLA (Disability Living Allowance) or the WPMS (War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement), and have 12 months or more remaining on your allowance, then you are eligible to join the scheme and can choose your car today!

There are a number of adaptions to help improve your driving experience:

  • Driving adaptions, including pedal modifications and electric controls.
  • Stowage adaptions, which include rooftop stowage and car boot hoists.

Will I get my advance payment back?

We’re afraid not – the advanced payment isn’t a deposit. It is the amount paid to Škoda either before or on the day you collect your car. It is a one off, non-refundable payment.

How long will it take for my car to arrive?

Delivery times vary depending on the model, so stay in touch with the team at Motability who will keep you updated of any delays.
