Mandatory MOT Testing will be reintroduced on the 1 August as COVID restrictions begin to ease. If your car is due for an MOT from 1 August you will be required to obtain a test certificate to continue driving your vehicle.
If your MOT due date is before 1 August you will still receive a 6 month exemption from testing. However, all vehicles must be maintained and kept in a roadworthy condition. You can voluntarily get an earlier MOT, we are offering MOT testing throughout this time; if you want to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy we would encourage you to book it in for a test with us.
