What is an Ex-Demo Car?

Ex-Demo Cars are vehicles that we have previously purchased to be displayed at our Heritage Škoda dealership. These vehicles cannot be described as brand-new, as we are the first registered keeper on the V5 registration document. Ex-Demo vehicles have previously been on display at our Heritage dealerships and have been used to carry out test drives to our customers. An additional benefit of purchasing a Ex-Demo vehicle from us is that they come well equipped with a wide range of additional features. We tend to keep these vehicles for a short period of time, and as they’re nearly new, the majority of our ex-demo cars are still under warranty.

Finance an Ex-Demo Škoda

When a dealer updates their display models, typically around a plate change, they sell the ex-display vehicles, as they are no longer needed for showroom use.

Ex-demo vehicles are not considered new. They have been previously purchased and registered by the dealership, making the dealership the recorded owner on the logbook. Having been used for test drives, they will have some mileage, and are therefore technically classified as used vehicles.

Ex-demo vehicles are generally more affordable than brand-new models. Despite being slightly older, they are often still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Additionally, ex-demo cars frequently come with extra features to showcase the options available on the vehicle.
