ŠKODA Ex Demo Cars

Ex-demo cars are vehicles that were originally purchased for use as display models, often used for test drives and showroom demonstrations. They usually have low mileage and often come with additional features, offering excellent value. When a dealer updates their display models, typically around a plate change, they sell the ex-display vehicles, as they are no longer needed for showroom use.

Ex-demo vehicles are not considered new. They have been previously purchased and registered by the dealership, making the dealership the recorded owner on the logbook. Having been used for test drives, they will have some mileage, and are therefore technically classified as used vehicles.

Ex-demo Škoda vehicles are generally more affordable than brand-new models. Despite being slightly older, they are often still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Additionally, ex-demo cars frequently come with extra features to showcase the options available on the vehicle.

Yes, you can finance an ex-demo car. Our ex-demo SKODA vehicles are available with flexible finance options, including customisable Hire Purchase and Personal Contract Purchase plans.

It depends on the age and mileage of the vehicle. Škoda's standard new car warranty covers the first 2 years with unlimited mileage, followed by a 3rd year up to 60,000 miles (whichever comes first) - plus a 12-year body protection warranty against corrosion.

Because an Ex-Demo car has already been registered and driven (usually for a matter of months), it's simply further along that same warranty timeline rather than starting fresh. So if the car is still within its first 3 years and under 60,000 miles, it will carry the remainder of the manufacturer warranty - you're just picking it up partway through rather than from day one.

For electric models, the high-voltage battery is covered separately for 8 years or 100,000 miles, with a guarantee of at least 70% retained capacity over that period.

If you're unsure how much cover is left on a specific Ex-Demo car, our team can check this for you before you buy.

Yes, we'd actually recommend it. Test driving the vehicle beforehand gives you a proper feel for the car - how it drives, the infotainment and technology, and the overall interior - so you can be confident it's the right fit before you commit.

Typically, our Ex-Demo models range from 1-2 years old. Our current stock consists of 2025 and 2026 registration plates, all of which fall within Škoda's warranty threshold - meaning they'll still be covered by the manufacturer warranty.
